Thunder Offseason: 2026-27
Relevant dates and impact to the current Thunder roster

Daily Thunder is downhill on offseason speculation and mockwork (more incoming next week). We went two hours on the last podcast discussing all the summer decisions looming for Presti and OKC. If you ask me, Ryan is a real jerk!

Bolts:
- Joe Mussatto (The Oklahoman) on Chet's tough finish and homework for next season.
- Brian Windhorst (ESPN) reiterates the obvious: “The message that Oklahoma City is sending out is that they are not touching that core. You can choose to not believe them if you want; they say they’re running it back.”
- Shai had a very underrated playoffs.

- Tim Bontemps and Bobby Marks (ESPN) include OKC as one of the 10 most interesting teams to watch this offseason:"Since Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren signed extensions last July, the 2026 offseason has been circled as a financial reckoning. Though the payroll seems unsustainable to compete for a championship next season, there are reasons why, for at least now, that is not true. Besides not paying the luxury tax since 2020-21, the Thunder have a wealth of draft capital, including two first-round picks this year, along with another two in 2027. In total, they have 12 first-rounders and 13 second-rounders from 2026 to 2033."
- All known Thunder workouts, via HoopsRumors: Yaxel Lendeborg, Morez Johnson Jr., Nate Ament, Allen Graves, Jayden Quaintance, Alex Karaban, Emanuel Sharp, Izaiyah Nelson, Tamin Lipsey, Rafael Castro.
