Thunder Journal: The Final Stretch
We are hitting the home stretch of the NBA season. And unlike the past two seasons, we have no idea what to expect from the Thunder as we enjoy the final month of OKC hoops.
As of this morning, Mark Daigneault’s squad is the 13th seed in the West. So they’re going to tank the rest of the season, right?
Not so fast.
If the Thunder win tonight, then Mark Daigneault’s squad could be tied for the 9th seed and firmly in the play-in picture.
I know what you’re thinking. OKC is playing the Warriors with a healthy Steph Curry tonight and then going to Phoenix to play Kevin Durant and his new Next Chapter, Part Three friends tomorrow night. That’s two likely losses in two nights. So tanking it is!
Well, not exactly.
