- The NBATV round. The Thunder's attempt to sweep will be broadcast on NBATV, where the least interesting games happen each postseason. The Pelicans have a lot of miraculous work to do if we are going to learn much more from this series.
- 34 years old. The average age of James Harden (34), Russell Westbrook (35) and Paul George (33).
- 4-7 days. If the Thunder can pull off a sweep, they'll be off until the second round is scheduled to begin (between May 4 and May 7).
Prediction
I'm repeating my pre-series prediction, made in the form of a Wordle.
I expect to be rooting for the Clippers (tied 2-2 with the Mavs) on Wednesday night, not for OKC to finish off a gentleman's sweep. Ten-ish years younger and a week-ish more fresh than the second-round opponent sound like a good time to anyone else?
