3 Big Things

Thing: Will Darius Bazley be available for the contest?

During OKC’s previous match versus the Lakers, Bazley left the game due to an ankle sprain. If he cannot go tonight, it will be a big loss for the Thunder. Moreover, it will be intriguing to see who coach Daigneault plugs into the starting lineup.

Thing: Shai Must Bounce Back.

In the last two games, Shai has struggled. He did not attempt a 3-point shot vs. the Spurs, although that was greatly influenced by the Spurs defense. Additionally, SGA has three assists in his last two games combined. Shai needs to slow down and get his teammates involved and in return they will start rewarding him with some assists.

Thing: Welcome Back Billy Donovan.

This will be Billy D’s first official contest versus his former team. The two sides did meet twice during pre-season, but everyone knows that doesn’t count. It will be interesting if the Thunder honor their returning former head coach with a video or artificial crowd noise when he is introduced. Suffice to say, Donovan’s ovation will not be nearly as rowdy as when Scott Brooks returned for the first time.
