Nike unveiled the uniform changes coming next season: “Instead of “home” and “away,” each team will now have four primary uniform “editions” from which to choose. The “Association Edition” will be the team’s traditional white uniform, while what was formerly the road uniform will now be designated as the “Icon Edition.” The two remaining editions will be revealed later this fall.”

A conman acting as Adele’s manager targeted Russell Westbrook and Paul George: “A South Florida conman who posed as the manager of singer Adele targeted sports stars including Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Victor Oladipo for free sneakers, according a report by the Miami Herald on Tuesday. Citing an arrest warrant Tuesday, the Herald reported that conman Justin Jackson posed as Adele’s manager when he offered tickets to the singer’s concert in exchange for sneakers from Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony, among others, purportedly for a charity auction. Jackson succeeded in getting sneakers shipped to him from George and Oladipo, according to the report.”

Apparently Paul George was dangerously close to being a Cleveland Cavalier: “ESPN.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski said the Indiana Pacers were so close to trading the playmaker to the defending Eastern Conference champions that they were “about to give permission to Paul George to get on the phone with Cavs owner Dan Gilbert.”

Steven Adams doesn’t think it will be an issue integrating Paul George into the Thunder: “Challenge integrating him? Not at all. There won’t be any. Just ’cause everyone’s a good guy on the team, he’ll easily come in and feel comfortable, I think.”

Upon returning to the United States, Steven Adams will go meet Paul George in LA: “I haven’t met the guy but I’m excited to meet him,” said the seven-foot center from New Zealand. “I am actually joining him after this in L.A.”

Lesley McCaslin sat down with Paul George for a face-to-face interview: “I was excited, I was thrilled to play alongside one of the best players in our league right now. What I did know is how this fan base is excited and crazy about their basketball. I knew right along I was going into a great situation, and I was happy about that.”

Erik Horne on Enes Kanter’s wild summer: “To call Enes Kanter’s summer an adventure would be an understatement. The 25-year-old Thunder center celebrated his birthday in airport purgatory, detained by Romanian authorities when his passport was canceled by the Turkish government. After making it back to the United States, he blew the lid off Rudy Gay’s free agency visit to Oklahoma City by tweeting a photo of Gay’s nameplate on a locker in the Thunder’s practice facility.”

Doug McDermott spoke with Omaha.com about his game: “I feel like Ethan Wragge out there at times just standing around with my hands ready,” said McDermott, who averaged 19.5 minutes and 6.6 points per game after being traded to the Thunder in February. “It gets frustrating; I’m not gonna lie. But that’s kinda what my role has been, especially the last year, and it’s beneficial to the team.”
