Official Box Score

Things are getting interesting after Oklahoma City’s third win in its last four games. After a rough first quarter (shooting only 25 percent from the floor) the Thunder used superior effort, intensity and a special 2nd half from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to dispose of a much improved Knicks team coming in 5-3. SGA finished the night with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists after scoring only two points in the first quarter. Hamidou Diallo was Shai’s co-star tonight with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Diallo was simply everywhere on both ends, leading all players in +/- as a +18 in 29 minutes. The bench gave the Thunder a big boost all night with 48 points.

Mark Daigneault on Hami and the bench: “Those guys came in and changed the game for us. Hami was really good. I’m really happy for him, he’s at home. He’s had ups and downs. It’s a reminder, development is not linear.”

Oklahoma City will finish up this road trip against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday @ 5pm CST.
