Behind Darius Bazley’s 23-point performance, the Thunder got a much-needed win against the Wizards. The Grizzlies game seemed to snatch any momentum the Thunder had moving forward, but that all changed in the bout against Washington, a game the Thunder led the entire way.

Early on Mike Muscala got going from behind the arc, hitting his first three, three-point jump shots. From there Bazley picked it up in the second quarter, scoring 11 of his 23 during that frame. The Thunder seemingly never looked back from that point on. Hamidou Diallo even got in on the action late scoring 13 points and grabbing six rebounds.

This win provides a nice confidence boost as everyone seemed to get in on the scoring. For the Thunder its bubble record improves to 3-2. Going forward, the hope is to keep this momentum churning as the playoffs are just three games away.
