They had an excellent soon-to-be free agent in Channing Frye. He has excellent 3-point percentage and can clog the middle and handle the 7-footers. He's a little old for the team (27) but I think he could definitely fill a role that OKC needs to address. The thunder have every piece possibly needed for a championship team.. A defensive stopper in Thabo, A possible 3 point specialist in Harden, A superstar in Kevin Durant, Role players to help fill out the team but its missing one important piece to the puzzle.. A good legit shot blocking rebounding big man. Possible suitors? Gortat from Orlando? Maybe even Bosh from toronto? Just imagine a starting lineup with westbrook, harden, durant, green, and bosh. Not only would they win championships for years which would keep bosh and durant happy enough to stay, but it will also increase talks of KD for mvp. If scotty brooks was smart then he would heavily pursue preferrably bosh, but i could settle for gortat. and on top of the cap space we have the contracts of nick collison and other trade baits that could also sweeten deals.
