What a letdown! We've known this day was coming for weeks, but I thought there'd at least be a deal by now. No game AND no deal. . . .AND no meetings??? Just wake me up when it's over!

I just read that the new cap figure might be $58 million again.

So if we amnesty Nate and don't resign Daequan Cook, we'd be at around $48 million, giving us $10 million in cap room.

But with that said, knowing Presti, I think he keeps Nate and re-signs Daequan and stands pat with our current roster at $56 million. That way he can still wheel and deal during the season, knowing the team is still under the cap.

God, I hate these late starts...

I like what I see in the Kendrick Perkins video (Royce posted today) from a strength and body standpoint. He's obviously fitter than last season.

But I'm still not overly impressed with his post game, even against air. I really don't think he'll be much of an offensive option for us going forward. His post moves just look awkward.

That means if Thabo continues to be a starter, we're going to run into the same problems as last year: 2.5 scoring options in the starting lineup.

Now, if we amnesty Nate Robinson, that opens up about $12 million in cap space. I doubt it will happen, but that would free up some money for Presti to bring in another scoring option, preferably a low-post scoring option.

I keep getting these emails saying I'll get my check by November 10th for the exhibition games which were canceled weeks ago. Seems like crap that it takes that long. I mean it isn't like Clay is sitting around having to actually sign them all. C'mon, get the money out already.

I think I'm going to go home tonight and watch Game 3 of the first round series between us and Lakers from 2 seasons ago. While you guys are complaining, I'll be watching Thunder v. Lakers.
