Video: KD and LeBron square off

I hate the tragically overused word epic, but by all accounts, the Melo-Goodman game Tuesday in Baltimore was exactly that. Mainly because it featured maybe the best one-on-one showdown you could pick out in today’s NBA game. The King vs. The Durantula.

LeBron’s team got the best on the scoreboard, but KD got the best in the box score, lighting LeBron up for 59. There’s already some solid video of the face-off featuring two of the games biggest, baddest superstars, but via the indispensable Ball Is Life, here’s your definitive video from the night. Enjoy, two or three hundred times.

@ justin
I thought he always put on weight in the off season and lost it during the season?

Remember last summer? "Durant will average five assists a game look at how much better he is at passing!". To me his handle looks about as loose as it usually does, if LeBron or others poke their hands in there he's losing the ball. I think it's much more significant that Durant looks like he's put on some weight.

@Royce@Andrew

Agreed, but I do think his handle is actually improving some. He seems to be keeping the ball lower, using more hesitation moves/changing speed, and generally keeping the ball much tighter... at least I hope

is it just me, or is KD looking more built as the summer progresses?

@ andrew
Yeah, and he probably would've been called for carrying 92 times. Or at least should've been.

KD's handle looks sick in these highlights. However nobody ever puts a hand where it could impede his dribble. I Don't think he is gonna pull off those nasty crossovers in an actual NBA game.
