Saturday Morning Cartoons: KD’s top 10 of the season

Good Saturday people. Thank you for your support of DT. Stay fresh.

A top 10 of just awesome Kevin Durant plays? That’s pretty much basketball porn for me. Nobody plays the game prettier than KD. So smooth, effortless and fluid. Even his nasty dunks have a bit of poetry in them. Most of these plays are just dunks but if I was choosing, I must just line up 10 of his prettiest jumpers from this season. Which of course would be tough, because there are about 400 to choose from.

@ Caleb
It was somewhere on nbadraft.net (not the most reliable source)...I saw it at the same time I saw the Reggie Jackson guarantee. Total BS, Presti wouldn't draft Reggie Jackson.

@Kcic66

Where did you see the maynor trade rumors... I haven't seen anything at all.. Not saying your not right I an just curious... The only thing I see is when there was the rumor he was going to the pacers in last years draft for the #10 draft pick... Which obviously didnt happen

@ DizzDai

It means going "Hard As a M*****f*****" (hence, HAM)

@ DizzDai
Personally, i'm thankful it isn't protected this year. It had to be Presti's idea...I am not sure I have ever heard a draft number that high protected. Only someone with a laser focus on the draft would would do that.

I just noticed this...

"Cavs receive the Thunders' 2011 second-round pick, via Heat (Latavious Williams trade) (top 40 protected in 2011 and 2012, unprotected in 2013) (LeBron James trade 07-09-10"

I've only heard of 1st rounders being protected. I'm wondering if the protection was Presti's idea or the Heat's.

I was reading nbadraft.net's extended mock draft. And they are saying that we have promised reggie jackson to draft him. We are also rumored to be shopping maynor. Not sure if anyone posted this. If we trade maynor who would we get. Draft pick? A Vet? I love this time of the year.I hope if we trade maynor its to move up to get jordan hamilton

Perkins, Nazr, and Collison are dads. Are they the only Thunder Fathers?

@ Daniel Plainview

Nah. I have one kid, another on the way, and should have 3

@ Daniel Plainview
Thanks man! Cheers!

Happy Father's Day to all DTers!

GO THUNDER!

Since hes the only person in here Im certain is a father, Happy Fathers day, Captain C-Note~~

Go Ham? Is that a team name, motto, or nickname?

@ oboy
that was a sick dunk too! and shesh all people seem to care about is if he traveled on the play :P who cares its freaking kd lol. I hope they put some harden vid up too. *is it october yet :P *

@ DizzDai

No suprise. As a starter next year, he will have a 40 point game, and will have a triple double while teasing several more.

Anyone else hear about Harden dropping 51 points in LA's Drew League.

Check out this scouting report on KD. I love the line about frequently leaving teams "shellshocked"

@ DJ 7

No offense, your typically really smart...but I read the first 2 sentences of this paragraph and said out loud "What a dumb ass."

Their primary offensive facilitator is Stephen Curry. Monta Ellis is a ballhog that averages around 35 shots per game.

Chad Fords hooked me, I want to trade Mullens for.a sexond rounder and scoop up Jimmy Butler. Seems similar to Thabo, just much betterr shooter

Wtf? lol, that would be an awful trade. That would leave Golden State with no real offensive facilitator, and it would leave Orlando over the cap again. Not to mention Orlando has Gilbert Arenas, i really doubt Golden State who are a littler over the cap limit want to suck Arenas 14 million dollar contract. A trade with New Jersey makes more sense. They send Brook Lopez, Their 1st round pick, and so on and take on Howard and Arena money. That leaves D-Will with a guy who can shoot from 3 efficiently not to mention someone he can work off the ball with, and gives them Howard. Orlando clears cap space, and get a 1st round pick with a young center. They tank the season, then trade Nets 1st round pick with another player such as Hedo, or Nelson so they can move up in the draft and have two possible top 15 picks. Although i know that trade doesn't sound that much better because it would put Nets way over the cap but its a better win-win situations as to Howard going to Golden State just to not even make it to the playoffs.

Now there are rumors that Reggie Jackson has been promised by other teams, specifically Portland and Miami.

RT@JonRothstein Getting word that Hofstra's Charles Jenkins is very much in play for the Pacers at 15. Look 4 Indiana to take a long look if Jimmer is gone.

Surely Gstate wasn't really thinking Orlando would take that,... Maybe they just extended it to see if they did have something Orlando wants

Durante playing on the drew league right now they have a live stream look up drew league live stream

That's a terrible offer for Howard even if Golden State takes Arenas.

Kevin Durant is good at playing basketball.

@ gokc

it's because the video was for plays during the regular season not playoffs

The Dwight Howard sweepstakes have begun. Golden State offered Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins and Ekpe Udoh. Unlikely that'll get it done.
- Via DX

Thoughts? I doubt it gets done as well. Not a terrible offer, but why would Orlando want yet another scoring guard unless they're taking Arenas and his contract back and sending me picks?

def should have had way more jumpers... and how can the dunk over heywood be the number 1 play of the season on nba.com but not even on on kds top 10...
