Happy summer/Saturday everyone. Thank you for your support of DT. Go Mavs?

Due to a number of things — delays, bad luck, more delays, more bad luck — I spent the night at the Atlanta airport last night. A lovely experience I would wish upon everyone. So as you might imagine, I spent quite a bit of time YouTubeing the crap out of everything. And in the wormhole that is related videos, I stumbled across this gem of a video from last season. It’s the Thunder’s FS Oklahoma intro and somehow, despite it being only a year old, this video feels like it’s from 1974. And I can’t help but completely love it.

I think it's funny that the same guy who bumped his elbow and made a huge deal out of it last playoffs, then came to the media about how his cold was affecting his energy level on the court this year is the same guy making fun of someone else for being sick (and beating him while doing it). Lebron's a fag.

ehh I've been in much worse. Atlanta's huge, but it's moderately self explanatory. Go one way and the terminal letters go up, go the other and the terminal letters go down. Laguardia takes the cake for me. Delta has two seperate buildings that you have to take a bus through NYC to get to. Philly and any other airport where you have to take shuttles to get to connection flights are pretty horrid too.

The "it's gametime! it's gametime!" still goes through my head before tipoffs. It certainly had a pavlovian effect in its day.

I miss this intro, it was pretty cool. Did they even have an intro this year, i don't remember seeing one. i remember FS Oklahoma having an intro for the playoffs and it kinda sucked. They tried too much on it. I'de like to have this intro back, besides i wouldn't mind seeing the cheerleaders dance before every game.
