Even if our boys are out of the playoffs, I still had a great birthday...my Black Durantula jersey, Ibaka jersey, and Rise together T all came...so excited.

I hope they draft parsons out of Florida. I was reading about who they invited to work for them and they were all PGs. Wonder why that is. Do they plan on tradeing Eman

@Needabetternamethan The Durantula

Yeah, my point was that it seems like a lingering issue. Thabo from early 2009-10 was much better than he's been since.

@justin
It's probably also worth noting that plantar fasciitis is among the hardest injuries in sports to "rehab." Your options are increasing pain tolerance, staying off your feet for an extended period of time (not always successful especially in people with over-developed calves), extensive stretching exercises (rarely successful) or changing foot pronation (crazy hard to do).

It's worth noting that at his exit interview last season, Thabo also claimed he wasn't 100% and suffered from plantar fasciitis.

@Danner
That's certainly fair. For all the talk we've seen about adding a veteran SF or finding an answer in this subpar draft I actually don't think that a back-up rotation of Maynor-Cook-Sef-Collison-Nazr(Aldrich) would be that bad. I think the linchpin would be Cook. He really revitalized his career this year proving to be a 3-pt specialist in more than All Star competitions. The question now becomes what can he do with extended minutes. It seemed to me his problem was his off nights..he would just keep on shooting. For all his 2-2 nights, he had an aggravatingly large number of 1-8 nights.

@Needabetternamethan The Durantula
I think we should hold judgement till this upcoming season, he struggled with injury all year and said he was at about 70%, i think he still has the tools and drive to be a great defender but i dunno if he'll ever be bruce bowen

One thing I would add to the list of things we know now that we didn't know then is that Thabo is not morphing into the elite defender we thought he was. I'm personally ashamed of some references to Bruce Bowen last offseason. His playing time is obviously limited by his career-long lack of offensive production, but the match-ups for which he is still a worthwhile defender have dwindled to slower, taller, jumpshooting wings.

Also, i wonder if Luke Babbit is available from Portland since teh have Wallace and seem unwilling to part with Batoom (Thats how it should be spelled)

No ones mentioned Nick Young as a back up SG

Dallas was wiser, yes, and thats from experience. Our youth allowed us to panic. I liek listening to you guys. Im here in Michigan, and Im crushed. Getting better though

If Dallas wins. It's the second straight season we've been knocked out by the eventual champs. Not too bad.
