While 2k10 wasn't the greatness that was 2k9, the sad thing is it still was miles ahead of Live. EA Sports has been backsliding on their basketball game production for about 4-5 years now, and I think it's complete crap that they're making NBA Jam a one-time download only with the purchase of Elite 11. What if we want the nastalgia of jam without the frustration and likely crappiness of elite 11? What if we the consumers don't want to give EA the claim that they sold more copies of Elite 11 than 2k11, when in truth half of the buyers were buying only for the Jam download?

I always sorta wonder if I'm the only one who feels that way. The 2k fanboy drum keeps beating like everything was great. It really makes no sense. Why would you be a fanboy of anything other than quality? It's stupid.

I loved 2k9. I hated 2k10.

Nevermind that the game was glitchy and almost unplayable -- game changing slow down, so many network issues I stopped trying to play over the net -- I just hated the feel of the game.

Shooting, post offense, and both interior and perimeter defense were all superior in 2k9 IMO. Supposedly, they were streamlining things, but they just made it terrible. Hated 2k10.

You're being too kind; 2k10 sucked. It was extremely glitchy, slow, and there was no support for roster changes/updates. And that doesn't even speak to the game mode revisions that made the game take a giant step backwards.

They shouldn't have put Kobe on the cover of 2k10 ... the cover athlete should have been Gilbert Arenas.

My dad and cousin played football at Arkansas in the 60's(Earl and Russ Cody) and I grew up in OKC/Edmond...an OU fan.

I love the 2k series, but 2k10 made a lot of changes I really disliked. I'm ready for a change.

NBA Elite is rumored to be a new approach, so I'm hoping it is a huge step in the right direction. The 2K series is getting a bit stagnant, perhaps Elite can make up alot of ground. Stranger things have happened in sports-videogame history. ;)

I think he was wearing that for the video game promo, since it was an NBA Elite 11 shirt rather just a KD shirt.

It's a shirt for NBA Elite 11 (which he's on the cover of). Since he's talking in an EA commercial about the EA game, rather than do the goofy blurry green shirt, they probably gave him an Elite 11 shirt and had him wear that for the interview.

Ok so maybe this belongs on the previous post about deifying KD and making lebron a villain, but did anyone else notice in this video that KD was wearing a shirt with the likeness of himself on it? Im sure he (and many other pro athletes) have done this before...but i seem to recall people getting on Lebron's case about similar things more than once... That said, KD is my favorite player and i do believe he is a genuine dude. But can we get a little fairness?

You can never tell why something is blurred. I watched a show the other day where they blurred FDNY on an ambulance in New York City.
