Saturday Morningish Cartoons: Hey, I know that guy

(Afternoon/morning Thunder studs. Thank you for your support of DT. Enjoy your day.)

ESPN’s 30 for 30 series has been pretty awesome. And this week’s “The Birth of Big Air” was really good, even though I wasn’t especially interested in the subject matter. However, one part caught my eye because of a cameo. Mat Hoffman’s doctor was none other than Dr. Carlan Yates, who became slightly famous because of his recommendation to rescind a trade for Tyson Chandler after determining his toe wasn’t right. Anyway, that’s pretty much it. But I found it cool.

Hoffman was in my brother's English class in 8th grade. He was rarely there. I have a memory of seeing a giant ramp in his backyard with "Mountain Dew" painted on it. Can't remember why I was there.

In a interview yesterday,Kidd said Russ could be the next Kidd

There should be some kinda warning for the squeamish. Just sayin'.

the show was very interesting, mat hoffman is the man. i always assumed he was from cali or something, like pretty much all the extreme athletes, had no idea he was from oklahoma

@justin
Don't doctors start to worry after #2?

Matt Hoffman is a prime example of what being bored in Oklahoma can lead to.

Watching this made me knees hurt. Ugh.
