I am sorry but look at basketball-reference.com advanced stats, Jeff Green might be a great locker room guy and buddy, but he is not worth more than 6-7 million per…hmmm after seeing Channing Frye get $32 over 5, maybe he is worth a bit more than that…God I am happy we have Sam Presti and team…

.i wish presti will used to his magic to keep all of them old together. i love to see all presti draft in OKC last a few year agos ……..Durant/Green/Westbrook/Ibaka/Harden/Mullens/Aldrich they born in OKC those guy will have OKC in blood and love this team too .good chemistry .stay in OKC feel like home ..this is the best in NBA team. and i wish they will old together with OKC fan more than .Any free agency like LEE ,Bosh or Trade rumors like Al jefferson ,al harford to be here…they all very good player who better fit than Ibaka/Aldrid/Mullen/Pliess but i wish 1 of them be our center future that all i want.i’m afraid OKC will be top4 in western this year!!!!

Vega :Guys, we’re not getting a guy like Jefferson. The team as constructed right now is the team that will take the court on opening night, with possible exception of a veteran third point guard.

I completely agree with this. I was just speculating into next offseason when we potentially have more cap space with the David West scenario. But if Ibaka/Green at the 4 work wonders this year, there may not be much of a need. But if Collison leaves after his contract is up, we will need to sign a vet.

You can even have the contract descend. (I’m not sure why it isn’t done more often ~ iirc, Heinrich’s deal is structured in that manner.)
