@Cpt. C-Note
Actually, I am in Washington D.C. now, but at this point having the Wizards is hardly more uplifting than having no team at all!
@Jef
Thanks for the comment, Jef. I hope you fans up there in Seattle get a team soon. I just hope it's not the Clippers because they're cursed;)
I am truly happy that you guys get to see such exciting basketball in Oklahoma City. I watched Durant and Green in their rookie season in Seattle, and they were already exciting to watch then (especially Durant; Green was still trying to find his role). Now things are just off the hook. I hope you realize how lucky y'all are!
yeah, i was there for that too, and i wish the video showed KD's immediate reaction instead of the fan's.. he was even more excited than this video shows.. it was awesome..
Hey Royce, I have a site suggestion. I'd like to see info about the next game (who they're playing and when) somewhere on the front page, maybe the top of the sidebar or something. I'm a regular reader but not necessarily daily, and I'm not really much of an NBA fan so I don't follow the daily schedule. As a result I never know when the Thunder are playing unless I happen to come to the site when a Pregame Primer is up. Anyway, just a thought. You've done a great job with the site so far.
The funny thing is that nobody has made the $20,000 shot during the game, at least in the games i have been to.
Mully Mulls :
Look how legitimately happy KD is for that guy! I don’t think it’s possible to be any happier to have a player rep your city than I am of him. PAY THAT MAN HIS MONEY!!!
yeah KD is happy for him. I agree we should give him max contract, he also could use some local endorsements.
What's funny is that Durant himself missed several - admittedly it was from half court, he was in street clothes and wearing Chuck Taylors - before he finally knocked one down.
He told a hilarious story about his first job sweeping the parking lot of a convenience store. "I never could figure out why i was sweeping dirt," he laughed. He quit after he found out he was getting paid in candy.
