On this day a year ago…
…the Oklahoma City Thunder were 3-29. Now, they’re 17-14 and a game out of the playoffs.
That is all.

I don’t think they’ll let me because I actually have hair. I don’t fit the uniform.
Ouch!
Hey Royce, given your current manning of the TrueHoop blog, does that mean that you'll get a little profile picture on the right side of the blog under "TH Contributors"? That'd be awesome! Hahaha.
Earl Watson's actually been playing well for Indiana; he was starting ahead of T.J. Ford for a few games even.
In my opinion, all of the success the Thunder have had this year can be directly attributed to the waiving of Earl Watson.
Many teams have had very impressive turnarounds from one year to another. The Celtics of two years ago are a notable one, the Spurs back in the day when they got Duncan also; also the Heat when Dwayne Wade went down. My question to the basketball sages in the community is this: Where does this team stand historically with the change from one year to the next without adding a "MAJOR" piece? Thabo was with us part of last year and so was Liv and Krstic, yet we still had a losing record by far even with those dudes. So, with basically three rookies in the rotation as subs (Harden, Ibaka and Maynor) where does this team fit amongst the great turnarounds in basketball?
