These four are part of a rash of really good guards lately, and I think the bar of expectation has risen due to it. It would be interesting to see how many guards in league history were as error prone as Russell is early in their careers, and how long it took them to figure things out. Did Tramel throw out 4 years as arbitrary, or did he have something solid behind that number? We're all a little impatient and, to some extent, have already elevated our core to superhero status. It'll do everyone a little good to realize he's a second year player learning to run an offense against the best basketball players in the world.
