Saw this on the Weekend Dime on ESPN.com:

“(Quincey) Douby was on Toronto’s inactive list for each of its first eight games but will come away with $105,651 for the 21 days he will have spent on the roster this season once he clears waivers.”

With the way everything looked when the schedule came out, I’d be thrilled with 7-10. Thrilled. Anything more than that and I may be making overly ambitious statements.

I think an 8-9 record is the best case scenario. All the home games are winnable, but these are some tough road games. Utah is notoriously tough at home, I can’t see us winning there despite their troubles. Milwaukee and Houston at home aren’t even close to being locks either.

Even the home game against LAC is the 2nd of a back to back.

I’ll say 7-10 with wins against San Antonio, Washington, and Milwaukee.

Was just cleaning out the car and found the schedule where my friend and I divided up our tickets. Does anyone else think there is a decent chance that we end November with a 9-8, 8-9 or even a 10-7 record?

Lose to the Spurs, Heat, Lakers. Wins against the Clips, Wiz, Jazz, Bucks. Houston and Orlando (just have not played well, but will have Lewis back) could go either way.

Am I just freakin’ nuts? I kinda think maybe I’ve been drinking the Kool-Aid, but my tongue isn’t Thunder blue.

Just a reminder that the Thunder are doing a food drive at the game tomorrow. Bring 2 cans and get a voucher for 2 tickets to a future game. Hopefully they’ll be able to get a lot of food for needy Oklahomans.

Someday we’ll get an actual Saturday morning Thunder cartoon in the old Harlem Globetrotters cartoon style. Just think, the bros battling evil in their spare time backed up by a different pop tune every week. Who wouldn’t watch that?

I’m just not sure if I’d rather have the classic version or the super power version. Tough call there. Though it’d be fun to give them super powers. KD would be Durantula, a spider man . Westbrook would be the Cheshire Cat, so fast he leaves his smile behind hovering in the air and as it fades away you realize he’s stolen your superweapon and dunked on you (or maybe missed a layup).

You know, I was just sitting here wishing I could read or see something about the Thunder this morning instead of whether or not the NBA should retire Jordan’s number (silly idea, IMO). Then, lo and behold, Royce tweets Saturday Morning Cartoons.
