Durant, Green and Westbrook all on 2010 All-Star ballot
Per a release:
Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant, forward Jeff Green and guard Russell Westbrook all appeared on the 2010 NBA All-Star Ballot that was unveiled today during a special tip-off event in Dallas, the Official Host City of NBA All-Star 2010.
There are several ways Thunder fans can cast their votes for Durant, Green and Westbrook. Voting will take place at all Thunder home contests at the Ford Center beginning this Sunday, November 15 vs. L.A. Clippers all the way through Oklahoma City’s matchup with Indiana on January 9. The Thunder trio can also be voted in via online balloting at thunder.nba.com which begins immediately and will conclude on January 18.For the first time in balloting history, fans can vote for All-Stars any time by texting a player’s last name to 6-9-6-2-2 (“MYNBA”), via Web2Go® on T-Mobile phones or wap.nba.com for any wireless carrier. Fans can cast one SMS vote per day, per phone number.
Votevotevotevote. Or you know what happens to you. KD can already probably punch his ticket, but it would be nice to get a second player there. Rise together (see what I did there?) and let’s get our players to Dallas.

Oh man, Durant is a given, but Green or Westbrook? Man I just can’t decide who to give more votes.
Based on the season so far, I’m gonna say Green
Durant is a lock . . .
The other two probably won’t make it (this year) even though both have improved in certain areas . . .
Kinda cool that the player images are their NBA 2K10 characters.
I still don’t think of Amare as a center.
@Jax Raging Bile Duct
agreed – he should be listed in the forward section . . .

as an aside, the Suns are BLAZING right now – barring a major injury (Nash, Stoudemire) there is no way we are getting a lottery pick from them . . .
Yep. I agree.
Oh yeah, wasn’t Collison on the ballot last year?
They are blazing. I don’t mind though. I know it’s better for us if they lose, but I like them too much to pull against them.
agree 100 percent . . .
How is it that Tim Duncan is listed as a forward and Antonio McDyess is listed as a center? Honestly I didn’t even vote for a West center because none of the guys listed deserve it or actually play the position.
That said, I don’t suppose anyone here is great with computers and can create a program that will do my voting for me every day? As long as Mozilla saves my password to the site it seems pretty simple, and I might be able to do it myself, but programming can also be extremely tedious when you aren’t used to doing it.
we are 2 weeks into the season and already voting for all stars
The site somehow put me down for Durant in both forward spots, and CP in both guard spots. Will check if I can do it on purpose tomorrow.
I am seriously, 100% hoping Allen Iverson gets a spot on the team. That would be hilarious.
Also note there is an optional write-in vote at the bottom that you can add a player like Krispy or Thabo as well.
*Writes in No-nads Krispie on the ballot*
Do you think Byron Mullens deserves to be an all star this season?
@My name is Byron, not BJ!
I think the D-League has an all-star game…so why not?
Green likely isn’t going to get anywhere near the All Star game this year but what about getting the most improved player award that he was largely overlooked for last year?
