Ryan Bowen makes Thunder roster

Veteran journeyman and apparent practice All-Star, Ryan Bowen, has apparently made the 15-man roster. For now:

“I spoke with coach after the last game and he said for now you’ve made the team,” Bowen said. “Obviously, I was excited about that. I know I’ve still got a long way to go with the thing about my situation. But I’m happy to be here and help in any way I can.”

I have been doing some homework on this guy and not only is he a practice all-star, but he is an avid golfer also. He and his wife both play golf and from the looks of it are pretty good. He seems like a good great guy for our young guys to have around.

Good for Bowen. If I remember right, John Lucas the third made the roster last year. And Stephen Hill also…..

Yep, nothing is guaranteed for him. I think the staff is interesting in keeping him mainly for KD to practice against.

Isn’t Bowen the guy that jsut stands behind the line and waits for a pass to shoot a three?

Good for us – we need more shooting . . .
