Daily Thunder at Media Day today

Programming note: I will be attending Thunder media day Monday afternoon so if there’s anything you’d love asked or something of the like, leave it in the comments. I’m not going to guarantee anything (I’m not about to ask Kevin Durant if he’s saving himself for marriage, so forget it), but I’ll do my best. You can count on lots of coverage of it and as many live updates as possible (most likely via Twitter).

    I didn’t know they let you nameless, faceless bloggers into these sort of events.

    I hope Traber is there.

    @Danny
    I hope so too. We’ll box.

  3. September 27th, 2009 at 18:45 | #3

    Ask Nick Collison when he plans to unveil the “Absolute Value Stache”.

    @Clark Matthews
    I actually plan on attempting to goad him into growing the handlebar he teased earlier this summer.

    I’ve already mentioned this to you Royce, but I would like to know if the three ball will be a part of the arsenal this year to a greater degree……..

    We were dead last in three’s attempted by a longshot (no pun intended).

    Ask the players (esp. the big three) if there is anything they would like to see from the fans this year. Synchronized wave @ the start of the 4th quarter? Standing ovations every time they check back into the line-up? Naked streaking Thunder drummers to break up the monotony of an early season Tuesday night? We, the “DTers” want to do our part!

  7. September 27th, 2009 at 19:44 | #7

    Could you ask the players what each of their main goal is to accomplish this season? Thanks!

    Ask Presti how long it will be until he caves to Crow’s demands and adds him as a special assistant to the GM.

    @dylan
    Bah!

    Keep ‘em coming folks. Again no guarantees because sometimes it just can’t happen, but I’ll do my best.

    you HAVE to ask if they ever visit the website!(i thought that would be obvious.)

    ….and if it is weird having a group of old has beens living their bball lives vicariously though them?

    ask jeff green what he thought of kd’s pants in the nike commercial (if he says something to the effect that he wouldn’t wear them) you should reply… jelious? (and no i can’t spell today

    Ask Mr. Harden if he needs video game tutoring.

    Ask our ever so humble (and undervalued) Green if realizes that Athlon suggests that he is overrated.

    I second girlballer’s suggestion.

    Westbrook and Green’s thoughts on Team USA would be interesting.

    Ask a player about health care. When he starts to answer, interrupt with “You lie!”

    I’m certain that the subject of all the hype surounding KD will come up early, if not, perhaps you should make sure it does.

    But, instead of asking KD about his thoughts on the subject (cuz we already know what he will say), ask one of his team mates what they think about the hype and the comparisons to lebron. I think Westbrook would probably give you the most spontaneous answer, or maybe ask Green and put a little “how do you feel about being Scotty Pippen” into it.

    Hope I didn’t submit too late!!

    I know this is too late, but I hope you asked Krstic if he would shave his head for the fans.

    My apologies to Sam Presti for letting our different perspectives on basketball become too sharply worded. I don’t retract much of the basketball views but I do regret the tone I often drifted into. My apologies to the readers here that it went too far, especially recently.
