OKC was a wonderful place to live for me. Another BIG THANKS for the city to embrace us when the Hornets played there for 2 years . Very under-rated area. But Traber must have been short on topics or material.

i just heard about this collison fiasco today on the radio in seattle, got online to find out more and somehow ended up here.
first off the sonics averaged 13,800 attendance in their last year in seattle, not the 3 or 4 thousand traber was leading you to believe. and that was with everyone here knowing the sonics were gone no matter what.
second, i can’t speak for everyone here in the seattle area, but i have not heard one person, NOT ONE blame okc for the sonics departure. the fact of the matter is, after the way okc supported the hornets and the way okc is growing, you deserved a franchise probably more than any other market. we DO blame the previous owner for his choice of who to sell them to. we DO blame the incompetent hacks running our state and city governments for dropping the ball and we DO blame bennett for lying to us to the bitter end.
third, oklahoma IS hot in the summer. i spent three years in oklahoma [friendliest people i've ever experienced] in the early 80s working in the oilfields. that damn pipe would burn my hands though my leather gloves in the summertime. great spring and fall weather though.
with around 4 million people [#12 tv market] in the seattle area i suspect we’ll have another nba team before too long. i just hope it’s an expansion team. i don’t wish the bull**** we went through on any other city. hugs and kisses. go thunder!
