The difference between 23 wins and say 28-30 wins matters to the fans and the players but between 23 and 20 or 18 I don't think so.

Play them more that chance of getting the 1st pick would probably have been higher.

Vega I believe his first name is Mohammed. They used Saer pre-draft, maybe a bit out of 911 sensitivity. They immediately changed to Mohammed after the draft.

You better to be pretty sure you know how to evaluate players from practice alone when you do that. There was no negative consequence for playing them some more and probably not much for playing them a lot more (might have cut into Krstic's acclimation a bit or Collison's trade value but that is it.)

I like that the "weaknesses" of Harden (deferring to the team, slight trouble with weakside defenders coming at him) are fairly moot around Durant (yes, defer to Kevin; and what weakside defender when KD is on the floor? He'll be monopolizing the double teams). Great pick. Rubio would have been interesting. Harden will be a valuable and needed piece of a playoff puzzle.

By the way "Thunder James" is just a temporary nickname until someone comes up with a far more witty one.
