That would be unwise. He’s way too injury prone. I think that he’ll be like Elton Brand was this season for Philly for whoever ends up signing him.

I’ve said it ten billion times, but it’s worth saying again. Patience, everybody. This isn’t franchise mode on a video game. Adding superstars won’t automatically make the Thunder a playoff team. Let the current core develop and let Presti draft guys that fit the system.

Also, it won’t be the end of the world if we don’t get Griffin. James Harden would be a fine addition to the team.

Read that Boozer had 23pts/22rbs against the Lakers last night. If we don’t get Griffin in the Lottery, we seriously need to hire that guy.

Vega : I have been looking all over for the Nike KD1, but none of the stores here in South Carolina have any. Has anyone in Oklahoma purchased a pair, or at least seen them in a store?

I own a pair of black KD1s. First basketball shoe I've owned in a while, but I love them. Very light and comfortable, and they look great, too. If you have wide feet, though, beware because they caused blisters on my pinky toe for the first couple of weeks. Besides that, they're fantastic, and relatively inexpensive to boot.

I’m very hesitant to order shoes on the Internet. I’d much rather try them one first before purchasing, but I can’t find any here. Heck, the people at Finish Line and Foot Locker didn’t seem to know what I was talking about.

Yes, I know we - Oklahoma in general - endured a lot of flames and comments from people in Seattle, NBA writers, et al. In turn, we (I) responded pretty vigorously with the tree-hugging, latte-sipping stereotypes. Truth be told, both Oklahoma City and Seattle should be home to NBA franchises.

The black road colorways are pretty easy to find, and I’ve started seeing more of the white with red colorway. What I haven’t seen is the Thunder colorway, which is what KD usually wears at home. I’ve seen pictures of them, but haven’t been able to find a pair.

Most of the websites dedicated to basketball shoes give the KD1s pretty high marks. Durant was apparently pretty adamant that he wanted as much quality put into the shoe as possible while remaining affordable ($88 msrp). A lot of the websites say they’re as good as other signature shoes costing more than twice as much. I don’t know that anybody has actually cut into one, but it’s been suggested that the heels probably incorporate the Nike Air system, but without the cut-outs you see on a lot of other Nikes.
