Any upgrades involve replacing these guys. This would be a 10 man rotation. Bumping them down probably means bumping them out. Refs don't always spot the few inch movement but they'll defintely see a skinny guy go flying. But it's the same at every level, high school on up, the "little guys" get more favor from the refs. The little guys also end up getting banged up a bit more, so I think it evens out over the season. The converse is also true, that big men get called for fouls more often than skinny guys, because when a big fouls you then you KNOW you got fouled.
