If Durant keeps a negative player pair with supposedly good glue guy Sefolosha will the supporters still maintain "there is nothing wrong with Durant" and "Presti is a genius"? Will Sefolosha be a good or ok glue guy with Durant considering all effects, not just the positive? Will he continue to be better without Durant than with? Can it continue for that to be said of almost everybody and get where they want to go? Does that change next year?

It would be easy to think put the SG defender next to the SF scorer and they compliment each other. But the stats of Sefolosha with Deng and Durant so far say the opposite. Now maybe it eventually works in some fashion with some unknown to me key unlocking good results but based on these stats I have a good amount of skepticism.

Thabo, when with Deng or Durant, he shots less and worse and the other shoots more and better but the team losses far more often. More predictable offense / much lesser defense when with either tall skinny scorer. Did Presti think Durant is different than Deng or his team design is different / better or Brooks is a better coach? Or did he even think much about the with Deng / with Durant issue?

Durant-Sefolosha had a good 1 st quarter this time. Ended -2. But that is far better than before.

Give it time but I did notice Deng-Sefolosha was Sefolosha's 2nd worst pair this year and by far worst last year. Deng and Durant are somewhat similar / somewhat different. I'd think it would be tougher to fit with Durant than Deng but we'll see if they fit.

I actually think we didn't hustle. Collison and Thabo did, but no one else. We gave up 78 points to the Spurs, and 101 to the Bulls. I was pleading with them to bench Green and put Weaver in. The Bulls would run 4 guards and Green was just chasing them all night, and not doing so well. Durant was back to matador defense.

So I dunno what the team was thinking. Maybe they were still high on the Spurs win. Maybe they think they have the Bulls' number, since they beat them in Chicago earlier in the year. Maybe they don't realize they aren't good enough to win games just by showing up.

Durant's body language said it all at the end of the game, after he missed his last two shots (both decent looks), he just bent over with his hands on his knees wondering what happened to his jump shot.

Rose was outstanding and fun to watch. His jumper and ball control are excellent. Noah reminds me of AK47, when he just comes out of nowhere to make big plays no one expects.

Yeah, I was only counting actual jumpshots, not dunks or anything (according to ESPN's shot tracker, so take it up with them if the jumpshot numbers are inaccurate :)).

I actually thought that RW hurt the team's chances to win, and yeah, maybe he should have been sat and talked to. It was like he was trying to "even up" the matchup with Rose that he knew would be showcased on ESPN after the game.

Thunder were 25/42 at the half (60%) and 39/82 for the game (47.6%), so they were 14/40 (35%) in the second half...or just about the same as the Spurs game.

Back to RW - nice paragraph Royce, and yes, he is a ROOKIE, but he mistakes the same mistakes OVER and OVER , even on consecutive trips down the court?? Someone please tell me why doesn't he get benched once in a while? That would definitely speed up the learning process. It's pretty simple - if you are turning the ball over repeatedly, slow down and do something else . . .
