You can read the forum at TheLakersNation for kicks.

Yeah, there's a lot of "it's a blowout" and let Kobe go take a nap kind of statements. But a few are warning - hey, better not take the Thunder too lightly.

Phil Jackson says we're "full of vim and vigor"!

From lakers.freedomblogging.com:

Phil Jackson said the road-weary Lakers will need to dig deep to find the energy needed to get through their back-to-back games against Oklahoma City and Utah.

The Lakers, who went unbeaten on their six-game, 10-day swing, practiced on their only non-game day before facing the Thunder on Tuesday at Staples Center. They then board a plane for Utah on Wednesday.

“They still don’t have their feet on the ground in L.A. yet,” Jackson said. “They had a short night sleep here and they we have to get after it tomorrow. The young team we’re playing against is full of vim and vigor. They are athletic and we have match a certain energy they put on the floor.”

Derek Fisher saw it from another angle.

“If he was really concerned about energy, we wouldn’t be here today (practicing),” Fisher said laughing.

. . . . . . . .

Hey, that's better than some, who say we're full of crap!

So if Weaver holds Kobe under 20 points I would say he definitely deserves that starting spot!

ok dude, where's the Lakers pre-game?

Prediction: OKC Thunder in a BLOWOUT!
OKC: 135
Lakers: 65

But seriously...

Hopefully, we'll play smart, energetic, and tight. Please no flurry of ridiculous turnovers. If we play well, we could keep it close. That alone should engender some respect. Most likely the Lakers (and their fans) are completely looking past this game.
