Well, the only reason I would is because OKC plays a lot of tough opponents in the next two months. But heck, with this three game winning streak, they’re off to a good start. Just need 10 more.

I think you’re right, but a couple things to keep in mind. First off, the PBC has gone through multiple cash calls at Bennett’s own admission. I wonder if after the trade if there was another cash call or the possibility of more cash calls was raised at the announcement.

Shinn’s motives maybe true also. Just because we vetoed the trade (for whatever reason) doesn’t mean that Shinn wanted to move Chandler for an alternative reason (Cash).

Nope. An no to conspiracy. If that’s the case, they why did Presti pull the trigger in the first place? McClendon is letting Bennett and Presti run the team. He’s got enough on his plate, before dawdling on a center’s toe.

The Thunder is making sweet money right now. Look around and do the math and you’ll soon find out that they are solvent.

It’s definitely a possibility. $11 million for a player is fine but when there’s concerns, even the slightest, that he may not be healthy, the team had to pull the plug. Especially when the ownership group may be having some money troubles.

And Simmons mentions later that a possibility of NOLA moving Chandler was to possibly set off fans and therefore decrease attendance so that Shinn could be let out of his lease with the arena.

On Bolt #1. I had that conversation with my dad as soon as I heard the news. It was the conspiracist in me. I really hope that is not true. And I don’t think it is true, but it already made me think….
